We are independent physicians without a direct hospital affiliation. What that means for our patients is that we can choose which specialist is best for them. We are not obligated to make referrals within the hospital system that employs us. We do not receive bonuses based on our referral patterns. We also do not work for an affordable care organization that pays bonuses to physicians for providing the lowest cost of care. As independent physicians we have consistently met our quality performance goals with Health and Human Services each and every year.
